Samsung’s wireless charger

The whole smartphone market hanging with 2 new technologies inductive magnetic charging and resonant inductive magnetic charging, now Samsung also looking the wireless charger they planing to launch somewhere around 2014.

image

According to the some of top blogs Samsung plans to make the Samsung galaxy s4 with qirwleas charging system, but some how Samsung driped that plan. Now wireless charging device research going in bit higher range like we dobt need to plan our smartphone n our wireless charging mat and don’t need to slicing it even if we plaxing our Smartphone near wireless charging mat automatically it’s starts to charge. This is awesome feature in case in airports we don’t need in airports when someone charging in the same charging pins we wanted keep the smartphone near to charging mat, that’s enought. And smartphone can place this wireless charging system in the public places , plubic transports I it possible they can use the public transport and they cab covert the solar power with the wireless charging system. Eg: keeping some solar power saving system in bus roof to and with that powers help than convert that power to wireless charging systems.

WiFi is open in airplane FAA. Confirmed

image

Federal Aviation Administration,
(faa) mentioned that there is no harm when passengers connected via WiFi. So in future we all gonna connected via WiFi will flying in the plane. But still there is a restriction for calling via mobile and mobile data packages. So we can expect these changes in future. For now connecting via WiFi while flying is big thing.

The FAA will still have final say over what is and isn’t acceptable regarding gadget use, but the consensus seems to be that mobile devices during all phases of flight pose no imminent threat. If everything goes through, the rules could change as early as next year.

Wireless charging technology is not new

Chewing gum for charging gadgets

Wireless charging technology is not new, but it has not been widely adopted. Designer by the name of Lin Ping hopes that his invention – an electric sticker for charging gadgets, Chewing Gum Battery – waiting to a better future. Packaging such batteries should be sold whole package in street vending machines. Power of one label from the pack enough to charge mp3-player, two label – smartphone or will be able to charge the camera, well, four – small laptop.

The Chewing Gum Battery concept involves paper-based batteries that are kept in a public outdoor dispenser attached to a solar charger. When someone needs a quick boost of battery power, they buy a pack of the fully-charged batteries, peel off the protective backing, and stick the sticky backs of the batteries to the device that needs charging.

Different devices will need different quantities of the little batteries. Each battery transmits its power to the device via RFID, although exactly how this would work is not discussed in the designer’s information. When the batteries are drained, users can recycle them at any Chewing Gum Battery dispenser

This comes under green tech they using solar power to charge this batteries, it Helps to quick charge the device and cost effective too. it s very cheapest products in chinese market this battery selling by street vendors. Better this charging unit reaching the Asian market more help full to smartphone users.

boda-fide wireless gaming controller. this is a special for the people who loves games allot  Samsung launch the joystick controller with Galaxy SIV,  this device can connect with the mobile via  Bluetooth.

Now for the bad news: the controller is only compatible with games that are purchased from Samsung’s curated app portal. For many of us Android users that have already purchased and downloaded a plethora of games from the Google Play Store, that’s a severe disappointment. It also appears as though the S 4 can only link up with one controller at a time, so multiplayer gaming is a no-go for now.

Samsung wouldn’t tell us any details about the pricing, but we expect the controller to be released sometime in May.

Features and specifications

Ubuntu running from an Android phone

A complete Ubuntu desktop for docked Android phones

Ubuntu for Android provides a full desktop experience, including office software, web browsing, email and media applications, on Android phones docked to a screen and keyboard. Thanks to tight integration with the Android service layer, the transition between the two environments is seamless, making it easy to access the phone’s services from the desktop when docked.

Secure full-featured web

Sit back and enjoy a full desktop browser for multi-tab, multi-window web productivity. Ubuntu supports both Chromium and Firefox, the world’s fastest browsers, and is naturally resistant to web malware, which is why enterprises and governments are adopting Ubuntu on desktops.

Surf on the move with the Android browser, then dock to continue your session on the desktop. You get the same web pages, the same bookmarks and the same browsing history, with all the real-estate of a desktop. Using web applications with a full keyboard and mouse is so much better than a tablet when you’re at a desk, even in a hotel.

Contacts lense on Ubuntu

Unified contacts

Both Ubuntu and Android access the same mobile address book. So even when the phone is docked, you can view, edit, call, text or email a contact. You can even check their profiles on Facebook or Twitter.

Calendar coordination

As with your contacts, your Android calendar data is shared with Ubuntu. This enables synchronisation with any desktop or web-based calendar application, like Google Calendar.

Messaging and calls

Read and reply to incoming SMS messages from the desktop, using Ubuntu’s message indicator. You can also make and receive calls via the desktop – and you’ll be alerted to voicemails so you can manage them while you work.

Incoming message on Ubuntu

Simple integrated settings

Alarm clock settings on the phone can be synchronised to alert you when working in the Ubuntu environment. You’ll have one place to enter wifi passwords and one place to pair your bluetooth headset, then everything just works.

Photos

Manage and view photos stored on your smartphone using the Ubuntu Gallery application. Then edit them on the Ubuntu desktop and save them back to the phone. Create, edit and consume, all on one device.

Social networking services

All your Android social network account credentials are synchronised seamlessly, using the Ubuntu social networking client to provide easy access to your online communities.

Technical specifications

Ubuntu for Android requires minimal custom hardware enablement, allowing fast and cost-efficient core integration. It requires a core based on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or any subsequent version.

Ubuntu and Android share the same kernel. When docked, the Ubuntu OS boots and runs concurrently with Android. This allows both mobile and desktop functionality to co-exist in different runtimes.

Shared services and applications are delivered using a Convergence API module which ensures the tight integration between desktop and mobile environments. Work is balanced across the cores of the phone. When the handset is not docked, both CPU cores transfer their full power to Android.

  • Defence against viruses
  • Anti-phishing
  • File encryption
  • Password protection
  • Built with security in mind
