Microsoft Made a deal with Nokia for $7.2 Billion

Microsoft has announced that it plans to acquire Nokia’s devices and services business, as well as license its patents and mapping services in a $7.2 billion deal. The transaction, expected to close in the first quarter of 2014 pending approval from Nokia’s shareholders, will be paid in cash. The Redmond, Wash. software giant will pay $5 billion to buy the devices and services division and $2.2 billion to license the patents.

Microsoft also published an email from CEO Steve Ballmer to company employees, describing the acquisition. His note, in part, reads as follows:

“Our Windows Phone partnership over the past two and half years has yielded incredible work — the stunning Lumia 1020 is a great example. Our partnership has also yielded incredible growth. In fact, Nokia Windows Phones are the fastest-growing phones in the Smartphone market.”

For now Nokia only the company completely trusted and going with Windows OS with their smartphones. So now Microsoft Plans to take over the Mobile Section of Nokia Company. So what’s going to happen for Microsoft Smartphone. Or else Microsoft Planing to do something link Google Nexus and other android phones.  Recently Nokia informed that about Amber update it a special update for Nokia Lumia phone.

Nokia Lumia Mobiles upcoming Windows Amber update

Amber Update this is the main topic now day all Nokia user talking about. Nokia revealed that it was working on a major software for the rest of its WP8 Lumia smartphones. The so-called Amber update, which now comes pre-loaded on the Nokia Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, and Lumia 625, was expected to start rolling out by the end of July for owners of the Lumia 920, Lumia 820, Lumia 720,Lumia 620, and Lumia 520. While we can’t say what’s taking Nokia so long, we can assume that the wait is soon to be over. The company’s PR agency in Taiwan revealed that the Amber update should be out by late August or early September at the latest.

Most of the tech blogger  and the Nokia user are expecting that Nokia will bring some need high level key features with the amber update, lets wait and see what s the good and bad in Amber update.
