Nissan Also joins the Smart Watch Game, But  when we compare with Samsung Gear and Nissan Nismo Smartwatch is awesome look. And we can tell that this is better that Samsung Gear with the look. This Device also connected with the owner nissan car and Social Media site, UI side is awesome.  Comes with 3 Colours (Red, White and Black). Still Nissan didn’t mention that with which Mobile OS its supporting,

Here are some of the things the Nismo Watch can do:

  • Connects to the car using a smart phone app as a Bluetooth Smart device
  • Access vehicle telematics and performance data while on the track
  • Capture biometric data via a heart-rate monitor in the watch
  • Monitor the efficiency of your car with average speed and fuel-consumption readings
  • Get tailored car messages from Nissan

Nissan says that the Nismo Watch can also track and rate the user’s social media performance across Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram using its Social Speed software. Klout for cars? Who knew!

The Nismo Watch is an extension of Nissan’s Nismo Lab, which launched earlier this year. The Nismo Lab is a mobile laboratory that captures live biometric and telematics data from Nismo athletes during races. With the Nismo Watch, Nissan hopes to make this sort of data available to the drivers. With any luck, this sort of technology can also be used in other areas.

In the future, the Nismo Lab wants to focus on ECG, EEG and skin temperature sensors — so that sort of data can get passed back to athletes via the smart watch.

Samsung_Galaxy_Gear-5468_610x458

Samsung Launched the first SmartWatch two days before. The device’s specifications are somewhat less exciting than what was rumored: a 1.63-inch, 320 x 320 pixel Super AMOLED screen, a 1.9-megapixel camera (placed on the wristband), an 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. Gear supports voice operation, letting the user conduct hands-free calls directly from the watch. You can also control music played on a Samsung Galaxy device, and it has a built-in pedometer which can be used to track physical activity.

Six colors will be available at launch: Jet Black, Mocha Gray, Wild Orange, Oatmeal Beige, Rose Gold, and Lime Green.

Galaxy Gear will become available on Sept. 25 worldwide (in more than 140 countries, Samsung claims) for the price of $299.

We can check the time usual thing weather, music, pedometer, notifications, images and we get setting and 70 Apps with it.  We can make calls with this watch and the music is sync with the Samsung mobile while we have. (Note:– Samsung Showed demo for music with Samsung Note3) . The Cam placed in the wrist band I don’t think it’s a good idea people will get rich with an edge of table or somewhere will get damage. Lets wait and see  what’s apple gonna do with their smartwatch.

New Smart Watch by Microsoft

Now Microsoft as joining the club with Apple, Samsung, LG for smartphone market when i m going through the the feedly i got this update from wall street journal .

Microsoft-Corporation

Microsoft is reportedly joining Apple, Samsung and LG in the race to develop a smart watch.

The software giant is working on designs for a touchscreen watch device, according to the Wall Street Journal, which cited anonymous executives at suppliers.

In early 2013, Microsoft asked Asian suppliers to ship parts for a potential watch-style device, the executives said. One source added that he had a meeting with Microsoft’s research and development team at its Redmond, Wash. headquarters.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request to confirm reports.

The company is no stranger to wrist computing. It previously collaborated with Fossil and other watchmakers to create the Smart Personal Object Technology, which was a watch that could link to a user’s PC computer via a cable. SPOT provided stock, weather and other updates.

Rumors that Microsoft’s competitors are developing smart watches have also swirled online. Sources inside Apple’s Cupertino, Calif. headquarters confirmed in February that the company is working on a wristwatch made with curved glass.

A Samsung executive said last month that the Korean electronics giant has been “preparing the watch product for so long.”

And for its part, LG is also getting into the smart-watch game, according to sources.
